CONTEXT
An ongoing passion project since late 2023, this is a collection of some posters I made for various artists and their music. This experience has immensely helped enhance my grasp on color theory, composition, typography, and the different design principles.
As an avid fan of music and cinema, songs and albums alone aren’t the only things that I anticipate in every work that artists release. Music videos and the photoshoots that go along with promoting their music have been a gateway to inspiration.
THE OUTPUT
In these posters, I made use of existing materials—often stills from the music video or photos of the artist—to create visual pieces that promote the overall release (song, album, music video, etc.).
Understanding the message through the lyrics and visuals, I focused on capturing the mood and theme of the song and music video also with the use of external assets such as stock photography and 3D renders, some of which I produced.
